Academy, Islamabad – Pakistan. WRITE-UPS ARE INVITED from Judges, Magistrates, Law Officers, Judicial Educators, legal and judicial academics etc. for “JOURNAL FOR JUDICIAL EDUCATION” ____________________________________________________________________________________ Pakistan’s First Judicial Journal The concept of judicial journals is not new to the advanced countries. However, in Pakistan, no such publication is available where judges, magistrates, law officers and other related persons can publish their research and writings. To end this gap, and to meet the statutory requirement of publishing journals, the Research and Publication Wing of the FJA has initiated steps to start publishing a research journal with the name “Journal for Judicial Education” on an annual basis. This will be Pakistan’s premier judicial research journal. This journal will publish peer-reviewed articles and research papers of high quality on any topic relating, but not limited, to the issues of judicial training, quality of justice administered in the Courts, competence of judges, improvement of the judicial system and quality of judicial work. The Journal welcomes write-ups from judges, judicial officers, magistrates, law officers and court-personnel on any topic mentioned above. Scholars and professionals concerned with justice delivery system are also welcome to send their contributions. Honoraria will be paid to those writers whose articles/ research papers will be finally selected and published in the Journal for Judicial Education. Authors will also receive 5 complimentary copies of the Journal. To make the Journal quality oriented not only content-wise but also in its presentation, it becomes important that the writings should follow a uniform style. For this purpose, writers/authors are urged to follow the Chicago Manual of Style. For further guidance, please go through the ‘Guidelines for Contributors’ available online at the official website of the FJA. Please send your queries and write-ups at editor@fja.gov.pk.
