Islamabad:  The Federal Judicial Academy arranged a Certificate- Awarding Ceremony at the conclusion of a one-week training course on “Continuing Legal Education: Professional Development Package for Members of the Bar” in which Director General of the Academy was the Chief Guest.

Addressing the participants, Director General of the Academy, Mr. Hayat Ali Shah stated, “The Rule of Law can become a reality in our society only if all stakeholders of justice system are well-trained in their respective domains. This Academy has set the goal to support professional development of lawyers under “Continuing Legal education” Program and this was the first training course of this year and others will be arranged in the days ahead. We highly appreciate the participants for their poise, passion and penchant for learning.”

“Non-professionals always earn infamy for the profession and thorough professionals earn a good name. We must encourage professional excellence among young lawyers,” the Director General maintained.

He also advised the trainee lawyers to cultivate reading habit and must read books like      “The Whole Truth”, “Not the Whole Truth”, “Half Truth” written by Justice ( Retd)  M.R. Kayani and other renowned writers  for their professional development and intellectual enrichment.

He hoped that the lawyers would put into practice the norms highlighted during the training.
